About the Location: Bangkok is one of the (or the) most interesting cities in southeast Asia to photograph. It’s beautiful, gritty, dark and light. The food, the people, the history…it’s all compelling. But it’s the streets and alleys that tug at me.
About the Shot: Who would you rather be? The perfect model living the ideal life? Or the ordinary woman going about her day? If you were one, would you dream about being the other? The muted life of one and the vibrancy of the other caught my attention while walking the streets of Bangkok.
