About the Location: Lebanon, and specifically Beirut, has had a tough half-century, and this past year has seen a series of calamities from civil unrest to political change to a financial crisis to massive unemployment and now to this. Peace Be With You
About the Location: I immediately felt welcomed into Deir es-Sultan, the Ethiopian monastery located on the roof of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. A handful of monks from the Church of Ethiopia live among the ruins of a medieval cloister erected by the Crusaders. Continue reading “Peace Be With You”
